At the core of our success at GWHS is our team of operators and managers. The training our operators receive is longer and more involved than current industry standards. Supervisors work closely with our operators throughout the workday and management is available for anything necessary twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.
At Global Wireless Healthcare Services, all operators are trained by a registered nurse. Operators are trained to understand the varying levels of urgency between calls and to prioritize calls accordingly. In order to ensure the delivery of complete and accurate messages, we provide our operators with training in medical definitions and terminology, as well as a background in the healthcare industry. Since every medical office has different and changing needs, training stresses the importance to pay close attention to a clients’ preferences and protocols. Training also emphasizes the importance of courtesy and professionalism when speaking with callers, the need for compassion when speaking with patients, and the importance of timeliness and thoroughness when taking messages.
